FILMING AN OLYMPIAN
It was an honour to direct a tribute commercial for the Olympic medalist swimmer Spiros Gianniotis. An amazing character who shone in the Rio Olympics not only with his performance but also with his sportsmanship and ethos. A great team was assembled and an amazing collaboration begun.
TOP OF THE WORLD
Christina challenged the No1 pound for pound fighter in the world for the most prestigious boxing belt, the WBC World Champion's belt. The first time ever a Grek athlete challenged this belt. This video is giving some information during the build up to the fight.
FOLLOWING THE REFUGEES
Together with a small team from MIT, Harvard and as researcher of the University of Athens we followed the refugees route looking for alternatives to the refugee camps. Lead by urban planner Melina Philippou and digital designer Spyros Ampanavos we witnessed first hand some of the conditions faced in the route. This video is a small reminder of the trip, depicting smiles as well as the hardships.
